CONSTRUCTION

Building your new pool is a process that will take about 30 days to complete. During this period of construction you will have different companies come to your backyard. Each contractor is a specialist in his field.
Most contractors can complete their service in 1 day. Some take a little longer depending on the complexity or labor intensiveness of their work.
This web page is an overview, for a more detailed look click on the pictures as the construction progresses. Please have patience as the pictures load.

Using your design we will excavate a hole for the gunite shell.   Steel reinforcing rods (rebar) will be installed both horizontally and vertically around the pool as the backbone for the gunite, which will be applied over it.
Prior to the gunite we'll place the skimmers, main drains, inlet returns, and piping for any water features or the spa.
Gunite, pneumatically applied concrete, is blown into the pool through a high pressure hose where water is added at the nozzle.
Now that our structure is in place, we'll install the plumbing, the equipment, the lighting, and the electrical controls.
Once our circulatory system is in place we install the tile and coping.
Natural stone lagoon style pools have become very popular.   If your pool is this style, we will now build the waterfall and put in the rock waterline.
Our next step is to install the patio decking around the pool.   As you can see, our pool is nearing completion.
Our last step is to apply the plaster.   When the pool plasterer is finished the pool is filling with water. It will take 1 to 2 days for the pool to fill.
The pool is now full of water and circulating.   Now it's time for landscaping!
